If you haven’t read the Zoey Ashe series, you need to. This was book two in the series for me, and it’s just as delightful as the first. Set in a futuristic Las Vegas style city, where there are no real rules, it follows Zoey after she inherits an ungodly amount of money and her Suits, the management team that used to work for her father. David Wong (the pen name of Jason Paragin) is a fantastic writer, and had me flying through this book. The story is dripping with humor, and the hi-jinx that seem to constantly be occurring are unbelievable. And there’s a cat! HIGHLY recommend anyone who likes sci-fi, futuristic societies, humor, and just insanity. If you don’t like swear words, this book won’t be for you.
Here’s my haiku:
Zoey inherits wealth,
Futuristic chaos reigns,
Laughs echo through pages
