Initially both Riley and Dex drove me batty. They weren't characters that appealed to me, but I found the story interesting so I kept reading. I'm glad I did, because it became a sweet and hot love story. Both flawed characters grew and recognized hidden facets of the other person. It was a fun and funny read.

When I say I was cracking up laughing. I mean it! The banter between the 2 had me rolling! I had to stop the audio book so I could finish laughing without missing anything. One of my favorite types of books are the one with pretend relationships, and this one was definitely a good one!

I really enjoyed this story! Dex and Riley are great characters. There is a lot of snark in this book but it had me laughing the whole time. Dex is a playboy and he has no filter and doesn't really care about the rules or following them. Riley has always wanted to be a pilot but she hasn't had the money in order to go to flight school. She has instead become a stewardess for now. She gets hired on as the stewardess for a billionaire's private jet working with Dex. It's not what she expected and she has trouble because she follows the rules and she knows what Dex is supposed to be doing as a pilot. They immediately start getting under each other's skin and it becomes war. They are both attracted to each other but Riley won't give in or admit to it. Marv, the billionaire, has a trick up his sleeve in order to sell 60 yachts; Riley and Dex have to pretend to be happily married in front of a prince. Riley negotiates a commission in order to go along so she has a stake in wanting things to go right. The stories that Dex and Riley come up with for each other are hilarious. I laughed at them many times. They are both fast on their feet and keep one upping the other. The sex is explicit, there's a lot of sexual tension and explicit talk as Dex continues to tease Riley. The story flowed well and kept me engaged and entertained. I had to keep reading to figure out what was going to happen next.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
