I really love the writing and it's an interesting story, but I had to DNF it. Maybe I can pick it up later, because I did like it originally.
My problem is that I wanted a much bigger focus on Leighton. Also and more importantl Kiara pmo sooo much. She just shows up, puts Leightons whole life upsidedown and then just enjoys her new Connections with another pack while Leighton has to find a way so everything doesn't blow up in her face.
I also waited for Leighton to finally really be passed of about them messing around and just leave them to it. Because she always tells them that she is not okay with that and nobody accepts her boundary at all.
Loved all the other characters though, especially Dash surprisingly.

I really like this book I think that it was really cool to see an alpha female lead. I don’t really see that a whole lot. I absolutely love the poisonverse I think that this was an excellent addition to the world itself.

I received an arc and it was the perfect read. This book was something different that what I have been reading lately. It was like a palate cleanser. I loved the dynamics between all of them. They all discovered love in different ways. Kiara has a misguided mind in what she thinks an alpha wants from an omega. This is the right pack to get her on track. It was an unexpected delight to read, that’s for sure. Also I mean who doesn’t love an FMC that has a best friend that’s a knife!

God I love this universe. This one dipped into a few characters we’ve met before. If you enjoyed Marlowe, don’t expect his sister to be anything like him! But she’s also amazing. And so our his fated pack, but much more suited to her than him. And the omega is amazing too! Emotion Support Knife may be my favourite character though. Highly recommend!
