This one had really high moments for me but also dragged a lot and bored me often.

I think it was a little bit too slow burn for me. I understand the addiction needed to take center stage but it felt like a bit too much for me. Maybe this just wasn't for me. I am honestly struggling with my rating for it. There were parts that I did truly love and then other parts where I was just thinking "Okay, we get it, enough already...lets move along."

I LOVE this series, this family (please adopt me).
Viktor’s journey in recovery was very well portrayed, showing his struggles and how much a support system matters. It was mostly about him, and that was right, and I understood how he had to work on himself first, even when my heart broke with Zoe.

However, this whole thing with everyone naming their kids after each other has gone too far, and is kinda stupid? I get they are close and wants to honor people that are important to them, but… there are other ways than giving everyone the same names…

No words

Just...AMAZING.

This book gave me all of the feels. ALL OF THEM. I was crying and then laughing and going through all of their emotions..

Zoe is everything. CAN WE JUST FANGIRL OVER HER FOR A MOMENT? She was so strong, forgiving, independent, sassy, caring, and selfless. She was literally my favorite part of this book.

Viktor broke my heart

Zoe and Viktor have such a beautiful strangers to friends to lovers story. I really enjoyed Viktor's backstory and his journey to becoming a better human, it really showed how people can change and rehab can be a gamechanger. You get more Zoe and Zara twin bond in this one and they really have a special bond. The slow burn in this felt very appropriate.

I have been reading Natasha Madison since she released her first book Something So Right in July 2016, and I absolutely love her storytelling. But make no mistake This is Wild is her best book yet. Viktor and Zoe were incredible characters and I desperately LOVED their story. Viktor faces some very real challenges, but you can’t help but love him. Zoe is Cooper Stone’s daughter… and sister to Matthew Grant. Longtime readers such as myself have watched her grow up (figuratively

Viktor and Zoe. He's traded to New York from Los Angeles after a coke addition and 90 days in rehab. She's his GM's little sister and his realtor. His captain on his new team is Evan (the H from THIS IS CRAZY) and Evan's wife is Zara, Zoe's twin.

His Dad is a hockey coach and he's always been destined to play hockey. She is hockey royalty and has zero interest before him.

The book is mainly watching our H struggle through sobriety. We meet Jeffrey, his sponsor, and we also meet former LA teammates, who almost drag our H Back to the dark side.

Zara and Evan are expecting their first baby, cameos again from everyone in the SOMETHING SO series.

This was a good follow up to the first novel. I'm still a little iffy on the overbearing nature of the males in this family, but I know it is a deliberate choice by the author. I knew the premise of this novel, but not expect it to be as heavy as it was. Addiction is a help of a thing, and I think the author did a good job of showing the commitment it takes to live from one day to the next.
