I beta read and received an ARC of Honey and Hellfire, but I am leaving a voluntary review.

This was, once again, a five star read. It's true what someone else said: if Scarlet writes it, I will read it, and it's bound to be five stars. Scarlet has a talent for mixing plot, angst, humour and spice altogether to make it work as an enjoyable read that makes you laugh and cry at the same time.

I loved Grace’s story — I didn’t actually think that I could get more attached to any of Scarlet's characters than Rory in The Revenge Duet, because I adore her, but Grace is a fantastic main character who I enjoyed learning more about. There was an absolutely fantastic twist about Grace's backstory that my heart lept for and I can’t wait for that to be teased out more in the second book.

Scarlet did an excellent job of Grace getting to know all of her partners individually and I do love how they always have separate nicknames. The spice, once again, showed no form of mercy, and safe to say had the temperature in the room was rising whilst I was reading it, even if it was during one of the heatwaves.

Honey and Hellfire, can be easily read without having previously read Rory’s duet. However, I would recommend putting some time aside before starting it because I devoured it in one go - I couldn't stop reading, but I think Scarlet's writing has that effect on me in general.

I am, once again, patiently waiting for book two to ruin me like book one has.

Please ensure that you read the trigger warnings at the beginning of the book before proceeding, as, once again, sensitive topics are discussed. Scarlet continues to discuss and write them in an appropriate and mature manner for readers affected by them, but reader discretion is still strongly advised.

What a great read! This duet is going to be so awesome once complete. Those steamy scenes had me drooling . Even when they involved only red and Zeke a few times . Grace is one fierce beauty . I loved all the characters. The storyline was fab! I can’t wait to read the next book. Mind the trigger warnings.

I knew that hell could be a sinful place, but Scarlet made it oh so sinful and delicious with this book. All of the men Red, Zeke, Harlow and Eli are great. Every time that I thought I had a favorite, one of the men would do have they moment with Grace. So, there is no one favorite as I love all four men.

I love that this book had no boundaries between FF, MM, MF, and FFMMM. Thus, it was so freeing as see all of these characters in the various open relationships. Which is why it made this book so HOT. I like that each guy had their moments with Grace before the heat really heated up. It allowed me to get to know them better and their personalities.

The ending! Um I need the conclusion to this duet ASAP!

This book is a solid 4.5 stars, with so much spice you may get burnt!

I’ll admit, while it’s advised to read the series before this, i went in blind and therefore I may have missed certain context within the book, I will 100% be going back and reading these books however because I am hooked.

This book features M/M, F/F and M/F/M scenes. While at one point there was so much spice that I almost forgot where the plot was going, I loved every minute of this read, and the ending did a brilliant job of bringing the plot right back into focus.

With shifters and vampires, fans of the paranormal are in for a treat with this book. While I was initially wary of Eli, Red and Harlow, I quickly grew fond of both Grace and Zeke. As the book went on however I ended up loving all five of these characters, and waiting to know what happens next to them is going to be torture.

I enjoyed the concept of bonding within this particularly, how Grace rejects this and how it affects her relationship with her inner Panther. It works well when compared to Harlow and her shifter nature.

I started it. I saw the potential. And then I was backstabbed by how bad the plot is. There’s no personality to these characters, we’ve all seen the broody one, the nice one, the impartial one, blah blah blah. Give us something more, this is like copy paste of every single other HR romance

This isn’t my typical read, but I loved it. It does leave off on a cliff hanger, so prepare yourself. Make sure you check the trigger warnings. This is a why choose romance that takes place in hell. If your up for a bit of an adventure id give this a read.

This book is throughly amazing. I haven’t read a book this fast since Big Little lies. It’s such a short read to capture your attention and binge within a few days or a week. The detail with the characters and their description and personality speaks very clearly. The author didn’t need to be extremely poetic for me to love the style of the writing.
I enjoyed THE SMUTS. THE SMUTS KILLLLED MEEEE. I wished the chapters were longer but I also liked the short chapters as it kept my attention.
