A lot of readers seem to diss this book, but I actually rather enjoyed it! It had no pretence that it was awesome, and yes, it wasn't. But it was funny in parts, totally over the top in others, and downright silly in many. But hey, love a good soapie with lots of glamour, sex, and scandal thrown in? No, it isn't more 'meaty' than this ... but if you're looking for light and fresh and downright silly even, then look no further!

This book really fell flat. All of the characters save for one or two were unlikeable. Random celebrity namedrops and seemingly forced (and often unnecessary) modernity like Facebook trolls and iPhone 6’s pulled me out of the story. It was like a trashy novel from the 70’s mixed with a YA fiction novel written by some out-of-touch author. It pretty much sucked.

Honestly the only redeeming quality about this book is that it was easy to read but when the story line is crap does that really matter?
