Read along to a video recording. Makes a lot more sense this time around but still confusing.

people often make a critical error in trying to figure out what this play is “supposed to” mean. the absurdity and lack of central meaning is the heart of this play and it’s up to each of us to reflect on that. vladimir and estragon’s friendship is created through their struggle to reckon with the meaninglessness of their lives and bolstered by their companionship through suffering, i think it’s a brilliant and well-done dynamic

Not sure what to say about this. It could go in so many directions and I think that's why it's such a stand-out play. Absurd and hilarious, it reminds me of many conversations between myself and a very close friend. Worth a read. Highlights the absurdity of the everyday.
