i don’t that i’m fully able to articulate my feelings about this book. i think this concept was very unique and the direction it went in was interesting, yet i never felt fully enveloped in the story. i like weird books, books without much plot, without many answers, and in weird settings, but this one didn’t land fully for me.

I am not quite sure how to summarize my thoughts.
This is a very weird book. I read it because of Kayla from YT,she said it was weird, so I was kinda prepared. But I wasn't expecting THIS.
It is an interesting work - with a very interesting writing style and a very interesting flow. The reveals though - it made me go like .... wow. that's it?
All in all not bad, but also not my cup of tea really. The best thing about this was the style for sure - it was kinda unique.

This is one of those books that's difficult to rate. It reminded me of Memory Police in that we follow possibly the least interesting character of the story yet, I still enjoyed being in her mind. Ines is vague, absent and learns absolutely nothing of value throughout this novel, but I couldn't put the book down. All in all, the best part of this novel is how relatable the characters are.
It's not a book you'd recommend to a friend and either you read it with intrigue or close it after reading 50 pages.

Couldn't do it. Got 50% and there is still no plot progression. I just don't get the story. IDK occult fic??? I really wanted to love this book.
