We had two Westies growing up and two Westies after I got married, so for Westie lovers like me, this book is adorable and captures the Westie curiosity very well. The illustrations are adorable and the story is simple and sweet. My kids and I love this book, probably more so because of the nostalgia of our pupps, Pebbles and Snowball.

Nice art, cute dog, and the picture of a tangled-up Santa always makes my preschooler laugh. However (as other reviewers have mentioned) the text is dry and a bit lifeless. Not Wells' best book.
