I like my heroines with a bit more spunk and attitude. It felt like Lily just basically shrugged her shoulders and let the past decade go. Even though she was basically starving, barely getting by and had to raise a kid all on her own. Not enough angst for me.

The mom really pissed me off, I really really loved this story though.

Mega mega angst.

I have reread this book and added a star.
Great secondary characters.
Lots of misunderstandings, manipulation and plots.
Heartbreaking second chance.

Coming Home is a sweet and yet sad tale of two people torn apart and both believing the worst of the other.

What would you do if you could not get to the love of your life? What would you do if you were kept a prisoner not of your making? What would you do if the walls were keeping you trapped?

What would you do if the love of your life didn't appear at the most important time in your life? What would you do when you realise not everything is as it seems? What would you do when you realise you have been lied to all your life?

Wendy has written a story that is full of lies and sadness, deceit and treachery but there is also room for hope and forgiveness and a second chance.

I look forward to the next instalment.
