Another great addition to the Poisonverse shared world! Ruby scent matches with Luther, Jackson, Cross, and Talon, but Jackson is the only one that actually thinks they’ll become a pack. All the rest of the guys think there’s just too much baggage. Jackson’s rather persistent, and they have much to overcome, but a happily ever after is waiting at the end. Loved it!

Love this whole universe. Every time I think I can't possibly like the next one as much as the previous and every time I am proven wrong.
This one in particular caught me off guard with plot twists which, usually I see them coming so I LOVE it when I don't. Strongly recommend!

The PoisonVerse is quickly becoming my second favorite OV series (after SweetVerse, of course). This was my least favorite so far but still a really great story. It was heavy on the trauma and cult brainwashing, which made it difficult to read during some scenes.

I have been so so impressed by the Poisonverse series! Usually when I read interconnected standalones by multiple authors some are great and some are okay. So far, I've absolutely loved each book in the series.

Ruby/Ruin is such a tragic and interesting character, she has gone through so much in her short life. Jackson is a hoot, a self proclaimed f-boy, and just a generally all around happy guy. Talon is the strong pack lead who just wants to protect his own. My favourites were definitely Luther and Cross but I have a thing for the damaged alphas who think they aren't good enough.

As always, read the trigger warnings.

This was a wonderful omegaverse that I'd highly recommend.

I saw that Amy was looking for ARC readers and jumped at the chance to get this new Poisonverse novel.

The PoisonVerse World continues to suck me into these stories. Ruby was raised in beta cult that trashed alphas and traumatized omegas. Ruby has a second persona that the cult has created for their propaganda. Ruby is doing a job and ends up meeting her scent match, Luther, although Ruby doesn’t know that. Ruby also has on online dating profile. There she meets Jackson, who recognizes right away she is his scent match. Without giving a lot away, Ruby ends up connected to Luther and Jackson since they are in the same pack. However this pack works for a government agency and had has decided they don’t want an omega. Past trauma also makes this decision for them. Can this pack soften their hearts to an omega that truly has no idea what it means to be omega? An omega that has true and severe trauma?

The spicy scenes are hot in this book. It’s told from first person and multiple points of view. I appreciated the world building and the slow build of trust. Ruby’s trauma is not down played. Be sure to check triggers.

Over all this was a great omegaverse. I would recommend!
