Some interesting and solid ideas on leadership, but kind of a drag and too self-aggrandizing.

Maybe 3.5 stars would be more accurate. All things considered, this was a pretty generic book on leadership. It gets the extra half-star because the basketball stories did make it more interesting and easier to read.
If you are a big fan of Duke basketball, you will probably like it more than I did.

At this point, I’ve pretty much read every single book that Mike Krzyzewski has written. While some of the anecdotes in Leading with the Heart were ones I’ve heard before, I thought this book was fantastic. Coach K does a wonderful job of putting the crazy world of basketball seem a little more simplistic. As always, I have taken something from a Mike Krzyzewski book that I can use in my everyday life not only as a basketball coach, but a human being.

Amazing and life changing read for my Understanding Leadership class this semester. This class offered me the most insight and applicable use of the group leader and follower centric leadership style driving society today. Recommended for anyone who loves basketball and principles at action.
