I got this story as an ARC from NetGalley and I am annoyed with myself that I didn’t have time to read Holiday Star. I mean if you don’t, you wouldn’t miss too much, as there is a great sprinkling of details so I understood past events and why things were the way they were. But I will definitely be reading it now!
Meeting Gwen, Caleb, Jenny and Dean was a super cute start to this holiday romance. Gwen and Caleb are the ones getting hitched but that’s not the only holiday romance

Dr. Melissa Dymond does it again. She writes compelling, likable, flawed but endearing characters, entertaining plots and APPARENTLY thriller/mystery storylines that I can't crack. I adore Gwen and Caleb, but let's hear it for the breakout stars, Dean and Libby. Libby is for sure my new book bestie with her "too big" personality and candy hidden in her socks, and endless love for the people she cares about. I loved this 2nd in the series and am already super excited for book 3!

Holiday Wedding follows Caleb and Gwen as they plan their wedding as well as Jenny and Dean as they fall in love in a fun enemies to lovers secondary story. The book switches between Gwen and Jenny's POV and while the focus is on planning Gwen and Caleb's wedding the banter and budding attraction between Jenny and Dean was my favorite part of the story. The characters were entertaining and there was a touch of mystery thrown in as well. Overall I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, quick read holiday romance.
I read the spicy/open door version of this book.

Another spicy, but still very sweet, holiday story with a double dose of relationships. First, Gwen and Caleb are dealing with more than the wedding jitters with a potentially dangerous stalker trying to disrupt their plans. Secondly, Gwen's best friend meets her match with a cute enemies to lovers story. Perfect for reading this time of year.

Oh wow, I absolutely loved this one just as much as the first book—maybe even a little more by the end! The thrilling twists and the suspense of uncovering the stalker’s identity had me hooked. The stalkerish things happening to Caleb were shocking and surprising, making me realize just how far some fans will go for a celebrity’s attention.
Gwen and Caleb were the classic lovebirds, just like in the first book, and it was heartwarming to see them tackle the ups and downs of their relationship. But let me just say—Jenny and Dean completely stole the show for me! Their bickering and sizzling chemistry were perfection. I loved how they complemented each other and helped each other grow.
This book was a bit shorter than the first, and I breezed through it in just two days. I especially enjoyed the callbacks to the first book, which made it even more enjoyable since I read it recently. If you’ve already read the first book, I highly recommend diving into this one right after—it’s the best way to experience the story. That said, it works as a standalone too!
It’s already LIVE, so go grab your copy now!

Trigger Warnings!!!!
-Loss of a parent
-Gun Violence
-Stalker
-Kidnapping
-Military Trauma/PTSD
-History of Alcoholism
-Issues with Body Image
This book is everything you could ever want in a holiday romance. It's full of humor, charm, and all the warm fuzzies of a Hallmark romance. However, it also has so much more to offer than that. It deals with serious issues such as PTSD from time in the military and stalking. It has couples who have realistic disagreements and can grow closer together because of it. It addresses the many struggles that arise when two people come together as a married couple. I am genuinely struggling to put into words how much heart there was in this book. I would recommend it to every single romance reader I know.

I just finished Holiday Wedding by Dr. Melissa Dymond, and it’s definitely a cozy, rom-com treat. This is my first book by Dr. Dymond, but it won’t be my last!
The story follows two love stories with alternating POVs from best friends Gwen and Jenny, and while it’s part of the Holiday Romance series, it works just fine as a standalone.
First thing: shoutout to the beautiful artwork included throughout the book—it added a nice festive touch to the holiday vibes.
Gwen & Caleb’s Story:
Gwen and Caleb's relationship is swoon-worthy, and you can feel the chemistry between them right away. Their romance had me rooting for them to get their happy ending, despite a few hiccups. Overall, their connection was undeniable, and I loved the emotional depth between them.
Jenny & Dean’s Story:
Jenny and Dean's dynamic was the real highlight for me! The bodyguard romance combined with forced proximity (hello, one bed trope!) was the perfect mix of tension and steamy moments. The added suspense of the stalker plotline kept me hooked, and I couldn't put this part of the story down.
Overall, Holiday Wedding is a fun, heartwarming read with just the right amount of Christmas cheer and romance. A perfect pick for a cozy holiday escape!
