If you know anything about the Regency period, this is not a book for you. The author did not do any research into the period at all, even the basics. The first story was tolerable, despite the fact that the characters were always referred to as 'Lord' or 'Lady' even by their parents. But each of the following stories became more and more unrealistic. For example, in one story the Hero was at a boarding school in Paris, France during the Napoleonic wars and in the final book an heir to a Dukedom was doing a tour of Europe during the same Napoleonic wars - by the way, there was no mention of the war at all despite the books being set between 1813 and 1815. The final story, even with removing the historical inaccuracy was not very good.
