Great book except all the construction vehicles are boys. Why? I routinely mix it up and replace the male pronouns with female pronouns. It would give it 5 stars except that. No reason to be so traditionally gendered.

Elliott got this for his birthday. Great story that teaches about construction vehicles and helps us settle down in the evening.

I loved the unique layout. The vocabulary is a little technical but great for learning minds especially if they love construction machinery.

An adorable and relaxing nighttime story! The illustrations are gorgeous and the story teaches about construction sites! Much better than a bedtime story like Goodnight, Moon.

Fun book for any child who loves vehicles and construction. The illustrations look like colored pencil and are really lovely.

This is a charming book about the hard-working trucks at a construction site and their night-time rituals.

I hadn't heard of this book but saw it on sale at the store. I flipped through it and was impressed by the charismatic artwork. With a four year old fascinated by anything with wheels, I thought it would be a good addition to our collection of bedtime books. I read it to him that night and he sat mesmerized by the entire story.

The rhyming story tells a wonderful tale of all the trucks in the construction site getting ready for bed. With gentle sounds and repeated phrases, this book is just wonderful for kids who have outgrown Goodnight, Moon but still need or want a book to lull them to sleep. I will be looking for more books by this author and illustrator.

Perfect gift for a friend with a baby boy. (sorry for the gender stereotype!)
