This book just kept coming and coming with the plot twist. Was it realistic? No, absolutely not, but I really enjoyed it and it kept me entertained. Don't ask me to make a family tree of our main characters and their family, because I already had a stroke reading about it. I must say I read this book over a pretty long time, with at least a week without any reading in between. This probably didn't help with my comprehension of the book, but it was still fine and I'm glad I finished this series.

The book's dramatic conclusion was truly unexpected. The plot's numerous surprises left me wanting more, particularly regarding future installments. While Lily was a captivating character, I am also eager to learn more about Charlotte, Liv, Julia, Trina, and the male characters. The narrative's rich detail held my attention from beginning to end.

In summary, I found the book exceptionally compelling.

Well, I messed up and read book #2 before book #1, but Jennifer Lynn Barnes gave me just enough information to keep from getting too lost.
A fun mystery-suspense.
I am ready to go back to book #1.
