Ended up dnfing in the 1st chapter because of some very harmful and gross descriptions of reactions the character had to a woman with disfigurement. It came off as callous and flippant and like something we were supposed to laugh about and find funny. I don't know if this is ever talked about later in the book and re addressed but I decided to stop reading because it just put me off the book so bad.
