Scoop follows Latina teen Sophia Cooper, who's an intern at WMIA 7. She deals with all sort of regular and supernatural shenanigans, and would do anything to get to the bottom of a mystery.
Prior to reading this, I hadn't read the first book in the series but it didn't detract from the experience. Scoop is enjoyable, engaging and a quick read. Sofie is likable enough and the world around her is so vibrant I want more of it.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy in exchange for an honest review.
