mTo be perfectly honest, I did not like this story. I didn't like the plot, I didn't like it's treatment of mental health or the queer community. I did not like the family dynamics, which while extremely realistic, were a bit too real for the escapism I crave in books. I especially did not like the ending. I much prefer books with a happy and neat wrapped up ending, and I felt like nothing actually got resolved in this book. None of this is to say the book is bad though, it's just definitely not for me. I did really love the writing/formatting in this book. I loved reading through everything in lists and how that still managed to convey every bit of information (like setting, mood, emotions etc.) a normally written book would. The lists are definitely the reason I finished this book
Graphic: Drug use and Homophobia
Moderate: Addiction and Mental illness
