Can appreciate the worldbuilding and general vibe, but couldn't get on with the characters at all.

Gross overuse of "female" instead of MC's name

MC who doesn't seem to mind that the MMC doesn't feel the need to explain anything to them and treats them like a child.

MMC praising MC for being a "clever female" after MC makes one obvious logical conclusion.

The two characters have literally no foundation to build a good relationship on other than sexual attraction. They don't like each other.

Inner monologue reinforces the idea that the two species are so incredibly different when literally the aliens are just grayskinned humans with pointy teeth and a little more strength (and sometimes horns).

I love this book! I will definitely be reading more in this series since it gave me everything I look for in a five-star romance. The fact it was sci-fi was just an added bonus. I would even go so far as to say after having just read a single book from this author I would read any genre she writes. Why? Because she hits all the beats and nails all the feels I want in any story. There's one scene, in particular, that was vividly described and it had my jaw-dropping. I think every girl has wanted to swim in the stars, but with the big fierce alien warrior who saved your life? You have to read this book<3G

Very fun for what it was. A gem in the genre of "human woman gets swept off her feet by foreign alien" also does take part in "interspecies reproduction" trope that's also popular in the alien romance genre. good if you're already fond of the ice planet barbarians type of books

Space&& aliens

This is an interesting take in Aliens and how they'd interact with people.

In this story space travel and aliens aren't new to humans but this particular species doesn't tend to interact with them.

Good story with a well done take on the confusion of the different cultures.

(DNF) The main female(Abbey) character was beyond annoying I couldn’t get through the book. I rarely use the the b word but she would be it. No witty banter just a total witch. Throw the whole book away.
