“You can’t lie to me forever, Cyrus. I’m going to find out the truth about you, and when I do, I promise you this: I’ll ruin him. I’ll make the devil regret the day he was born.” AAAAAHHH!!!!

tbh the first half of the book was dragging for me until the last 30%. just stayed for the love triangle and the tension between them especially Cyrus and Alizeh— the yearning for each other... the wanting to touch each other but can't, the unsaid feelings and withholding thruths about their past. I legit internally screamed at that ending line. And no way, wdym I need to wait until the next book releases. It's my fault for reading an unfinish series though so I guess I'll just suffer for now.

Going into All This Twisted Glory, I thought this book was the end to the series. However, with the amount of action, world building, and character growth in this instalment, I am SO glad we still have books to come! I absolutely cannot believe the events of this book, and I can’t wait to see what Mafi has in store for us in the rest of the series. Alizeh, Cyrus and Kamran are in such a tantalising, complex and addictive set of overlapping circumstances that you cannot help but be invested in this series. But what really stood out for me in this one, was the side characters and their layers being slowly revealed. I feel like we got to know so much more about them AND how their lives and histories impact each other and the story to come. I simply cannot wait for the next book and to know what happens to these incredible characters!!!!

Master world weaver and storyteller, Mafi knows how to grip my heart and soul to make it impossible for me to not continue a series. I’d recommend this to any and all fantasy lovers, honestly!!!!!

First of all, the cover art is amazing for this entire series. I think this cover is the best of the three.

Second, I was so excited to read this series in one sitting. Awhile ago I read This Woven Kingdom and I was hooked, but in typical fantasy series fashion, I needed to wait for the remaining books. I am glad I waited until the trilogy was complete. At first I reread the first book and continued to the final page of All This Twisted Glory completing the series in one weekend. Of course, I purchased all the audiobooks to complete this task.

The development between the three main characters was full of tension with intense action and romantic scenes. I couldn't decide who I wanted Alizeh to be with as each of the men had positive attributes that complemented her, but in the end, I was so happy with how the story wrapped up. The author truly knew who Alizeh needed to become and developed the story to support her journey.

Thank you Netgalley for the advanced copy.

Another solid instalment of this series. I enjoy Mafi’s writing (the yearning!). However, the plot has moved really slowly in books 2-3, but the characters are well-developed. Cyrus and Hazan are both so interesting, and we see the makings of another relationship subplot that would be a solution of any potential love triangle between Alizeh, Cyrus and Kamran. I would like to see more plot movement in book 4 now that there are so many characters and loose threads in their respective journeys.
