Of the series...

This is my favorite. I like Alex and Christy's story cause it just starts with helping out someone in need. Alex in his roughness has no problem helping out a girl in need and was respectful not to take advance of her in one of her lowest moments. Christy came into her own. My only criticism is that Christy wasn't the one to put her stepbrother in his place.

The Beast!

I loved that Christy was already taking classes at the gym that Alex was training at. It set them up really well for their love story and gave a good backstory as well as incorporating characters from previous books in this series. Their love was fast, hot and steamy!

Breaking Beast - Izzy Sweet and Sean Moriarty

The hero is an MMA Champion, and the heroine is down-on-her luck with nowhere to go. She just wants to take a shower at the gym where she trains, but she doesn't know she's not alone there.

After realizing the person in the showers after hours is female, the hero decides to confront her once she gets out. He can't overcome his need to take care of her. He takes her in and tries to deny his attraction to her. She's too young (18 to his 30ish) and innocent for him. Luckily for us, she doesn't care about that stuff.

This heroine is sweet, but she has a backbone. She's training as a fighter, and actually has a fight in the book. If you know me, you know I'm not into MMA/boxing romance, but I got past it in this book. It's definitely present as a part of the plot. From what I recall, most of the facts and situations were realistic.

Don't come to Izzy Sweet and Sean Moriarty if you want good grammar. Why would you come to them? If you want the alpha-iest alphas and a hot, hot, hot story. I give this novel 4 stars, and I will most likely reread it when I'm in the mood.
