I found this to be an enjoyable narrative. Mary tells it in an engaging way that made me want to keep reading. There did come a point where I felt she was relying too heavily on scripture to tell how she felt but considering that she was held captive for 11 weeks with nothing but her Bible to occupy her and she was married to a minister, it seems reasonable.
