It wasn’t the story I was expecting, but is was dang good ok! So we have Aurelia, a magic-less wolf who has been taken into Granny’s operation under the guise of safety. Although she is shunned by her community, she is the most valuable player they have as the major chemist in their front. In comes Weston, our broody Alpha who is tasked with collecting the drug maker and returning her to the dragon kingdom to face judgement. His mission becomes muddied when he discovers his captive is not only his mate, but also an unknowing participant. This was such a hot, heavy, and action packed ride. Aurelia is truly the perfect match to Weston’s tortured soul. The ending ends of a gut churning cliffy so heads up if that’s not your thing! You don’t need to read the prior installments of the Deliciously Dark universe to read this, but you definitely should read Finley’s story first if you don’t want any spoilers.

The book was really fast paced and had enough diversity in it that it kept me interested the whole time. In fact, I read it in about a day and I'm itching to get to the next book when it comes out.
This was definitely a classic retelling of Little Red Riding Hood but with a steamy twist.
