This started out so good but just got more disappointing as it went on. Loved the characters and the set up and the writing was solid. They went from first kiss to you're my forever person so fast I got whiplash, but I was willing to forgive that since it was such a short story and the MCs had known each other for years. The epilogue was just cringe though, so much so that I'm thinking to pass on the rest of the series.

What an unexpected joy to get a holiday novella featuring Colin and Ryder. I met both of these men in Parrish and Diesel’s story and getting to see their love story brought a smile to my face.

“Three years, Mr. Richards. Three years, and the only time you notice me is when I piss you off! Now, you’re pushing me against the cabinet and… and… and… taking your own sweet time screwing.” My eyes widened. Had I actually just said that? The look on Ryder’s face suggested I had. “I mean… screwing as in drilling.” Oh, dang it. “I mean, drilling as in using your power tool. I mean…” I pushed my lips together, forcing myself to shut up, and whimpered just slightly.” ~ Colin

Colin wants Ryder, but after dating a bad contractor in the past, he’s wary since they work together. Ryder wants Colin, but doesn’t feel he’s good enough.

They bicker and argue, but one night stuck in a snowstorm brings out their real feelings. Super fast instalove short story, but it’s a cute introduction to this series.

This was insta-love on crack. My head was spinning at the pacing of this novella. But it was a super cute and steamy hot story packed in a tiny punch.
