The art is wonderfully drawn. It’s extremely detailed and portrays the story well.

There is a slow buildup for this story, and I thoroughly enjoyed the unraveling of the characters. You have one shy/introverted gay graduate student who wants relationships, not hookups. The other is a metal head with selective mutism/stutter who has trouble interacting with people in general. The slow weave of bringing them together and how they work is gentle and holds the characters and the readers safe while exploring the topics of bullying and homophobia, and the worry of how one is perceived by the person/people they care about.

While there could’ve been more done with the selective mutism aspect of this story, it is a start to more representation, and there is support shown by some people.
