Easy read that kept me turning pages - finished in 1 day
Likable characters with the uncertain teen lack of confidence that I don’t love
Not super satisfied with the ending
Fun story to follow

Uh, well, quite frankly, the way to get a good review outta me is apparently to make The Librarian the hero!!! I mean, come on! The line that went something like, “what we Do know how to do is find information” just spoke to my soul!

Also, a really interesting combination of plot lines and twists and turns and stuff to make me sail through the book. I dug it, as I am prone to do with books from Ms. Kemmerer.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. Loved, loved, loved this gripping, heartfelt story. Straight-A Maegan is a social pariah after she was caught cheating on the SAT, invalidating the scores of everyone else in the room. Add her sister’s pregnancy to the mix, and she is hiding a lot of secrets. Rob is a former jock turned outcast since his father committed fraud, which took a lot of his classmates’ families money with it. After he attempted suicide, he is a vegetable. When Maegan and Rob are paired up for a calculus project, they find their stories and secrets entangled more than ever before. Highly recommend for grades 8+.
