This is the first of the Narwhal books I have read via audio and it was very entertaining, although I did miss seeing the illustrations. I would gladly reread it visually and hope that one day I can!

What's not to love, adore, delight in, or treasure? Narwhal gets to substitute teach in a school of fish!

This book’s comedic timing is perfect. Ben deftly balances humor and groan-worthy puns with fascinating science facts, the creative incorporation of synonyms, and the most wholesome game of tag I’ve ever encountered. In short, a delight. And a much-anticipated sequel in my own home.

~ Netgalley Arc
Thank you to Ben Claton, Penguin Random House Canada, Tundra Books, and Netgalley for this free arc for an honest review.
Ever since lucking into the first volume of this on Netgalley, I always pick these up if I can as they come out. They are incredibly short, sweet, and always give me a little laugh. They are perfect for young kids and always have some good friendships stories, plus this one adds in school, classmates, learning, and teaching. A delight, recommended to kids as always!

When Narwhal and Jelly come across a school of fish on their way to school...they tag along! But when they arrive at class, the instructor has to leave because he is ill. So Narwhal and Jelly become the teachers for the day.

'Narwhal's School of Awesomeness' by Ben Clanton is book #6 in the fun Narwhal and Jelly series.
Narwhal and Jelly visit a school full of enthusiastic fish, but their teacher is sick. Narwhal decides to become the substitute. If you imagine that at least one lesson will involve waffles and a game called 'Tag! You're Awesome,' you'd be correct!
This is such a fun series and each new book brings new creative stuff for the aquatic friends to play with.
