This is both weird and fun, filled with bee facts and a delightful main character prone to cheesy jokes. The art is excellent, and there's lots of references and extra facts after the story. It might be a little more slow than a  fiction graphic novel, but I think it would be a great choice for a kid working on a project or someone with a special interest in bees. Will definitely bring on middle school booktalks.
