Review coming soon!!
I posted this on my blog last year: https://radiantreadingreviews.wordpress.com/2022/01/03/im-dreaming-of-a-wyatt-christmas/
Thank you netgalley for the review copy
I love the Christmas Season so this book was one of my top requests on NetGalley. This book follows Noelle, a ballet dancer who loves Christmas but here friends and family don’t always share her enthusiasm. When her favorite family asks her to come with them on their winter vacation to help babysit the kids she jumps at the chance to go with them.
When the kids’ older half-brother, Wyatt surprises them all at the apartment and Noelle messes up their surprise they start off on the wrong foot. She works to get him to like her and to talk about dance and then one thing leads to another and she finds her crush on him growing bigger and bigger.
I loved this book so much! There are so many different fun winter and Christmas details in it. Noelle was a fun and well-written character and she had her hopes and goals but she still loved to have fun. She did have her flaws but she was a relatable character, especially for a dancer. I loved all the little dance references and wintery and Christmas vibes.
I loved the storyline between Noelle and her father it was so well written and it was an interesting look at family dynamics. I also loved her relationship with the family she babysits and between her friends.
I highly recommend this book for lovers of Christmas, Ballet, and cute fuzzy rom coms!

And with that, my 2023 reading challenge comes to an end. What a beautiful book to end my year. "I'm Dreaming of a Wyatt Christmas" is a fun filled book about grief, absent parents, ballet, skiing, and amazing parents. I was skeptical to read this book at first because Noelle was fourteen. But bit by bit, I fell in love with the story. Noelle is so cute and relatable struggling to balance ballet, babysitting, and her crush, Wyatt. I fell in love with the cute setting and even cuter characters. I also read the book on on time because the book took place at Christmas and close to New Year and there was a passage that stayed with me and will stay with me when 2024 arrives: "I don't have the answers yet. I don't know what challenges and triumphs this new year will hold, but I'm going into it with so many people on my side. [...] But instead of looking backwards, I'm keeping my eyes on the horizon. I'll find my spot, go en pointe, take a deep breath - and dance." - Noelle
Sometimes in this chaotic world we go day by day, we forget the simple lessons that Noelle learn. So I'm glad I got to read this book and have it be part of my 2023 Farwell and hopefully, just like Noelle, I'll step out of my comfort zone, speak instead of running away, and feel encourage to look forward to a new year.

A very sweet, cute and and innocent YA novel. Perfect for winter break reading.

This is a sweet, holiday filled young adult romance. I enjoyed Wyatt & Noelle and the storyline. It was fun getting read about all the possibilities you have when you are in high school. This was one of those feel good reads that tackles some heavy topics throughout.

I went in to I’m Dreaming of A Wyatt Christmas thinking it was going to be a YA book with an older main character, but as Noelle is fourteen, it was definitely an adjustment to what I normally look for in a YA book. Although I was pleasantly surprised when I found myself totally captivated by her strong voice and completely enchanting story.
Noelle and her friends normally do various holiday themed activities as it’s their favourite holiday. Ever since Noelle lost her mother at the start of Christmas when she was a little younger, it’s been a tough time of year despite her love for it. To make matters worse, her dad is becoming distant, and ballet-obsessed Noelle feels like she doesn’t have a place in his life, or in town, because of it. As she’s a beloved babysitter in town, Noelle is particularly adored by the Kahale family, who – in need for a babysitter over the season at their cabin at Christmas – invite Noelle to come with them. Initially apprehensive, she reluctantly agrees when her dad doesn’t seem bothered by her leaving, and sets her sights on a different way of celebrating the festive period. But she gets the shock of her life when the older Kahale brother Wyatt intrudes on the holiday from his dance school that Noelle wants to audition for. Thrown together in close proximity, sparks soon fly, but the holiday doesn’t go without hitches, and as her life begins to change, she isn’t sure how to put her feelings in check.
Overall, this book was a total breath of fresh air. Even though I’m not used to reading a slightly younger main character, I still loved getting to know Noelle and her love of dance, Christmas, her friends, family and babysitting families that became an extension of her own. I’d highly recommend I’m Dreaming Of A Wyatt Christmas to older middle grade and younger YA readers that love clean romance, Hallmark-worthy swoons and delightful holiday romances galore. Four stars!
