Did I love this book? Yes! Did it make me want to throw my kindle across the room? Also yes! This series has been packed full of drama but this one leaves us on a brutal cliffhanger that definitely makes you want to yell at the author.
I seriously feel like a proud mama watching Emersyn transform into such a strong woman. She’s slowly been taking back her life and I love to see it. Even though she’s faced with a lot of problems between discovering what’s happened to her mom and the king, not to mention trying to navigate the tension with her developing relationships with Freddie and Doc, she isn’t letting it break her.
Ordinarily I’m not one for long series- usually anything after 4 books and I get bored, but that is definitely not the case here. All the drama and angst and spice has made all 7 books seem to fly by and leave me wanting more. And after the way this book ending I need book 8 ASAP!

JFC!!! I have never wished harder that I was able to use adult language in a review. This book, this book had me smiling and loving the way things are finally moving along. The steam was hot. As always there was anxiety, I mean this is a dark romance but the ending...I'm going to need therapy! The vandals are at war in multiple fronts but every time you feel you have a piece cleared up BAM! Heather blindsides you and leaves curled up in a corner, biting your nails while wailing NO!!!!! But I'm a masochist and I love it. What can I say??? I cannot wait for the next book but I'm going to use the time to recover.

I’ve been hooked since the first book and have enjoyed watching emersyn and her relationships grow and develop. this book has a few moments that show her bravery and strength, and it progressed unexpected plot points (but I won’t include any spoilers)
I started feeling really sad halfway through the book, thinking about how this series is almost over. I’m not sure that’s actually true given that we have multiple books left, but it shows how much everything has changed since book 1. I will definitely need to re-read the series again from the beginning soon
this series is not for the faint of heart, but I still love it very much. I am just working on forgiving heather for that ending. I didn’t even know it was possible to stick five different, equally awful cliffhangers into one book. I can’t wait for the next one!

Holy smokes. I am mentally still processing what happened. That cliffhanger…it just…I cant…how in the world. Literally mind-blown. This is truly one of my favorite RH series. The guys, Emersyn. Every story we get more and more information and it helps piece the big puzzle together. And every book I fall more and more in love with the characters and then it ends and my heart breaks. Beware, emotional roller coaster ahead. Liam. Oh Liam. My goodness he is amazing. This book is hard to put down. It’s like it just puts you in a trance then you have mind fog. Heather has written her best book yet. It’s captivating it’s wild it’s everything you didn’t know you need. I can’t recommend it enough. Emersyn the guys the growth in everyone is remarkable I can’t wait for Reckless Thief.
