This series broadens my view of the world. I enjoy seeing Botswana culture through Mma Ramotswe's life.

Heartwarming as always. I do wonder if flying ants taste like peanut butter tho.

I have come to love this gentle, deeply kind series. The relationships between characters get more subtle and interesting over time. One of the plot twists wasn't so surprising, but the others kept me guessing. It's just such a treat to spend a little time with Mma Ramotswe, Mr. JLB Matekoni, Mma Makutsi, Mr. Poleptsi and Phuti Radiphuti, and the country of Botswana.

It's always so nice to go back to Botswana and have some bush tea with Mma Ramotswe...

These wonderful books are always slow and leisurely and this one is no different. In fact, there is only one case being handled by the ladies in this installment so the story primarily focuses on the relationships of the main characters. Comfort for the soul, as always.

Another lovely story from Gabarone. I loved how vulnerable Mma Ramotswe seemed in this one. She really made a connection with the children. There were some trust issues between the characters, which was nice to see them work through. I just really love these books.
