Missing White Woman was an edge of your seat thriller that had me desperate for answers! Cushion was cast everywhere and I had no clue who to trust. It really brings up how scary internet sleuths can be as well and how they can hinder investigations and upturn lives, even if they mean well.

This book had many twists at turns, I did like how it was a slow burn in the beginning because the author sets it up as if it’s going in one direction and then further down the rabbit hole it leads to another. It was an interesting portrayal of modern technology and social media in society and how it can be used as a progressive tool and an instrument, or to be used at someone’s detriment all at the same time. 

Of course it being a thriller I’m not surprised at the ending being a half somewhat cliffhanger with one major question answered but more to be revealed about the other questions involving the murder case and specifics. 

But I will say I was tuned in reading this and Kellye Garett really did put the reader into the mind of the main character, Breanna Wright. it also had a realistic portrayal of how black people/poc are implicated and received by the public in these large court cases or in general. 

This was a super quick thriller perfect for when you need a whodunnit! I loved the mixed media aspect and the build up. I did think it dragged for a bit but the twist had me!! And the ending was wrapped in a perfect little thriller bow!
