Not for me. Too tense, sad, destructive, and upsetting for my taste.

I should not be able to call a shamelessly exploitative novel about a queer tween sex worker "a joy" but here we are

Also I'm sorry but if you believed this was auto fiction, that is squarely on you

I haven’t read anything like this before, and it’s uncomfortable, chilling at times following Cherry Vanilla and her story. It’s describing both the ugliness and the warmth of a community otherwise flawed and quite horrible given the main character is a child. This one captures my interest and once I started reading it was difficult to stop, yet at the same time its not the best written which is why I rate it 3,5 / 5

Very strange to read knowing everything that happened.

while reading this book I originally thought "wow..... this is one of the most ridiculous books I've ever read....." and I was originally thinking I would end up giving it one star.... but somewhere along the line the story grew on me... and though I still find it disturbing and extremely weird I can also appreciate the creativeness behind it.....It's definitely one of those books that you just have to read for yourself....

When I started reading this book, I didn’t have much expectations. But it was surprisingly good. It evoked mixed emotions in me, and I find this story to be someone’s everyday reality. Very disturbing and worth reading.
