This is a little longer than I'd prefer for my regular storytime.

Bright beautiful colors, wonderful lyrical text and fun retro illustrations! This book has it all. So fun to read aloud. Parents and kids alike will love it and spot new things in the illustrations every time they read it!

An adventure ensues during what should be a normal camping trip.

Chris Van Dusen is one of my favorite illustrator. His Mr. Magee series is very fun. This one, about a camping trip where the trailer and car become unhitched is another fun one. I highly recommend anything by Mr. Van Dusen.

Fun read-aloud about a man and his dog who go camping, only to go on a rollicking, bumpy ride due to a clumsy bear.

I LOVED THIS! I'm sure my nephews will as well. Can't wait to buy this book for them to read.

This was hilarious. I couldn't read this for storytime because it's too long and wordy for my usual age group, but I really enjoyed this when I was preparing for this week. The illustrations and text are so quirky and fun, and the humor is great.
