I loved this book so much!!! The story was well written and so beautifully done. I feel like there’s a lot to take away from this book and it really took me on a journey of self discovery and growth. Books that leave me wanting to be better and do better are my favorite kind and this one did exactly that.

"Autumn is its own kind of magic; it reminds us of the beauty in letting go." This book is heavy on the exact type of elemental magic that I find so deep and delicious! I love this idea of an Everwitch. Also loved that magic shifted with the seasons and each witch embodied a different season. The book feels very current with talks of the Aurora Borealis and the Total Solar Eclipse. Although Clara can be kind of whiny and over dramatic, the beautiful connection to nature these witches have makes up for it. It was a short book and a very easy read. Some parts read a bit overly dramatic and simplistic, feels like a YA book?

I enjoyed this story until the end. Maybe the teen narrator was just a little tedious, but the story was unique and fun.
