Harper is an art professor at the local college and she teaches paint and wine parties on the side. After having tried her hand at being an artist, she is now hoping to get the full time professor job that just opened up. Tom paints at night when he can't sleep. His memories from his time in the military keep him awake. Both of them are very guarded and non-trusting. They meet by accident and they instantly fight their mutual attraction. Eventually they discover what makes the other the way they are. In gaining this knowledge of the past, they gain mutual respect for each other. This is a story about letting your guard down and taking a chance on another person and yourself. I really enjoyed this story. Great read.

This one is a quick read filled with art facts and nice chemistry between the characters. It's really cute, and I loved the story (thanks to fanfiction, I have recently learned that I have a soft spot for characters who are/have been soldiers, that's what really got me to request this title).
I think I might read some of Mrs. Wilson's other work in the near future.

I requested this title on NetGalley and was allowed to read it. But they archived it soon after and I didn't manage to download it.
The thing is though, I don't like having my feedback percentage at anything less than 100%, so I spent the last of my money on the kindle of this book. Let's see what we've got going on here.
