This is a really weird book. Not necessarily a bad book, but not my cup of tea. I found the switching perspectives confusing, I found the characters somewhat harsh at many points, and I prefer a wrapped up conclusion rather than an ambiguous one. Do not read this book if you have a problem with death - it's a theme that permeates the whole narrative.
