All of the characters take too long to say and do the things they’re feeling.

Sequel to Garden of Lies. I loved it, not as much as GOL, but it was very good. Lots of secrets and betrayals. :)

As many of the other reviewers mentioned, this wasn't as good as the first book, but it did hold my interest enough to want to finish it.

I didn't think much of this book. I only read it because it was a sequel and I was curious as to what happened but the writing and the characters and the storyline were very similar to the first novel in that the drama isn't very dramatic and things easily and quickly resolve themselves, and everything works out in the end. A good beach read, I suppose.
