The story is still interesting to me and I'm ready to read the next one. I just wish the main character would grow up a little faster!

I breezed through this book! Ms. Moning (she has a really nice website, check it out) has redeemed herself with me in Bloodfever the second book in the Fever series. After reading the first book, I dropped the series from my list, but after reading more reviews, I decided to give it another shot. I'm very glad that I did. This book was exciting and engaging. My only complaint is that there's not enough of Barrons! I'm off to ready book 3.

"What is trust, sidhe-seer, but expectation that another will behave in a certain fashion, consistent with prior actions?"

"You can’t go forward if you’re looking backward, Mac, Daddy always said. You run into walls that way."

"Question: When you’re one of the few people who can do something to fix a problem, just how responsible does that make you for it? Answer: It’s how you choose to answer that question that defines you."

*Reread March 2022

After rereading the first book I had to pick up the second book straight away. I don’t know what it is about this series it just draws me in every. single. time.

Reread number 3 (I think, it could be 4)

I really do love this series. Mac and Barrons have the best interactions. The plot is really well done. I love Mac’s growth as a character even from the first book. Her introspection really shows her journey.

There’s so much that happens in this book. Jericho has allll the mystery and I’m excited to meet Ryodan in the next book. V’lane is hilarious and awful. I hate Rowena.

It’s such a readable and binge worthy series. And that ending! Super looking forward to rereading the next book!

SO FREAKING GOOD. This series is so fluid and beautiful, it feels like this and the first book were just one big novel. I LOVED the kickass, dark new turn this book took. Jericho Barron is sexy as hell. and SO MANY QUESTIONS I NEED TO HAVE ANSWERED ASAP. I'm so glad this is 5 novels long, cause I'm already wondering what I'll do without these books in my life.
Now onto the third one.
