Chasing the Prophecy was So. Good! I'm so glad I stuck with the series after the first book: It only got better! So awesome. I want more, I don't want it to be over! But seriously, it was great. But I'm sad that some of my favorite characters died! I guess that's what happens in a war.... :( I still have the complaint as last time, I didn't love Rachel's character arc again but I see why it had to happen. I just wish it was someone else:/

Overall, This series definitely redeemed itself from the first book and I thoroughly enjoyed the plot, characters, and even the end! (I'm slightly picky about my endings :P)

The book was amazing. Brandon Mull writes some of the best books I've ever read.

I’m sold. This was totally worth it. Fantastic even. I might even get over the two things I really disliked in the first book (the hippopotamus and the non-quest trickery).

I’ll be reading this series with my son in the coming years.

Not as good as the Fablehaven series but definitely worth taking the time to read all three books in this trilogy.

I read this to finish off the series. The plot was way too easy, I did not feel at all challenged and things just seemed to magically work out for the characters despite odds. Mull would have done better avoiding extraneous descriptions of nature or characters' outward appearances and instead explain the thoughts or causes of protganaists' constant victories.

Seeing this AMAZING fantasy series come to an end was… *chef’s kiss* I simply loved seeing everything come together in this book! Seeing all of the various pieces of the puzzle come together in the end to finally defeat Maldor was beautiful.

I feel that this book is easiest to review character by character, so… I’m gonna do that!

Character one: Jason! His storyline of finding Darian the Seer was my favorite. It was so much more entertaining than Rachel’s! I was very invested in all the different clues he had to the truth of Darian and seeing whether he’d find the seer or not, and if he did, what “prophecy” would be revealed.
