If this book does not become the next Hallmark Channel or Freeform movie hit, I will be livid. Not only did I enjoy reading this book: on my commutes, walking down the street, and in my room, but I also knew that this would be the type of story that I would love watching on my screen bundled up.

Mimi Wells brings together sass, love, and ambition in a way that will have your heart melting and you turning the pages for more! The main character Ivy Macpherson is a character we all know and/or may have been at one point in our lives. With the stress of finding a rogue celebrity in her hometown and lingering romance at her heels, what should have been a run of the mill family visit goes awry. This book has comedy, romance, twinges of angst and most importantly: family. This is a great holiday reminder that sometimes, all you got to do is find your way back home!

When reading this book you're rooting for Ivy in so many ways, but also understand the conflicts her and her eventual love interest Rand experience. It's delightful, engaging, and get you turning the pages!

Mimi's smooth writing style feels colloquial, witty, and close to home, leaving you feeling like an old friend just told you a story they heard. Can't wait for more!
