I am struggling to collect my thoughts to give this book a good enough review. Firstly it is 4 stars instead of 5 because I felt that in the first part of the book, things moved VERY quickly, a little too quickly for me. I went into this thinking it was just a romance book, but I had no idea that it would put me through all kinds of emotions. It was heartbreakingly beautiful and I think a story that will probably stick with me for a very long time.

Did Not Finish. Too sentimental and predictable, left me feeling irritable

I don’t think any book has ever made me cry so much! Absolutely heartachingly beautiful story with characters who are so convincingly real! I would have been friends with Fran and would definitely have fallen in love with Will (both times!)! One of the best love stories I’ve ever read!

i was surprised by how much i loved this book. the two soulmates finding each other again is a trope that doesn't always read this well but this book did it perfectly. the plot twist was predictable but i didn't even care because it was written so beautifully and my heart broke for will and fran and everyone else. the one thing i didn't like about this book was that it was a little slow at points but still readable. the bucket list idea is basic but still really cute and i loved the chapters where their children bonded. overall the book was incredible.

Expect the Unexpected
This book was not what I thought it would be, I was expecting a nice, light romcom judging by the cover but what I got was so much more. It was funny, romantic and heartbreaking all in one. Tears at the end for me so don’t read in public. A great book even if not what I expected

I was expecting a second chance romcom, but got this bittersweet lovestory. Very moving and a good reminder not to dwell on the negative but enjoy all the good times.
I got this arc in exchange for an honest review.

I read this one quite quickly. I found it to be an enjoyable but emotional read about a first love that has been lost and then found again.
I enjoyed the storyline and found the characters to be believable. The chapters were quick with so many things happening in each one, secrets are revealed which made me want to keep on reading right up until the very end.

Before We Grow Old is a powerful yet emotional story of love and loss. Fran is a single mum, living comfortably. During a break at work in the local Cafe, she is flabbergasted to see Will; Will was her very best friend growing up which turned to live when they were teenagers. The attention to detail in this novel is outstanding, i was drawn in from the first page. Tissues will be needed!!
