The story was entertaining and held my attention. It was nice to get more Randy and Lily content and we saw a couple that was happy not chasing marriage and babies. They gave Violet back some of the dimension she’d lost in the last book. I appreciated there was significantly less of the slut shaming and misogynistic puck bunny content than in previous books in the series.

This was a nice snapshot of one year into Randy‘s and Lily’s relationship. I loved this. There are so few books that show everyday life in a relationship. Most books are either the absolute high of falling in love in the beginning, or contemplating divorce twenty years in. I’d love to read more like this one.
