Pulls together all the Miss Marple short stories that appeared in various anthologies over the years...
A good one-stop-shop for those seeking out the more obcsure Marple yarns.

I definitely prefer Poirot to Marple, at least for the short stories.

I really enjoyed this audiobook of all of the Miss Marple short stories! The narrator was really excellent with her different voices for all the recurring characters in these stories. If you haven't read Agatha Christie's short stories (as opposed to her novels), I recommend them to you. She was an excellent short story writer, and although I love Poirot, Miss Marple is my favorite Christie character. I read these driving from Colorado to New Mexico and they kept me awake and engaged the whole way.

I really enjoyed the insight into Marple's thinking and the smaller nuances of her life

Absolutely delightful, as Miss Christie always is. I greatly enjoyed that many of the stories had recurring characters, even though it was not originally meant to all be in one volume. I was glad to find out what happened with Gladys in the end.

Agatha Christie is BRILLIANT. I don't know how she does it but she is the mastermind of murder. Without fail she stumps me every time. I grew up reading Agatha Christie but have found recently that there are several mysteries of hers that I have yet to read, I was so excited to discover that! :) This book was one that I had not read before. It was a book of short stories and every single one was a mystery that Miss Marple solved in her own unique way and with her perspective on human nature. I grew up adoring Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot and am finding that I still adore them! for anyone who loves a good mystery you can never go wrong with Agatha Christie.
