Early contender for best book of 2025 for me. It had me at summer camp, and kept me hooked from there. Such a great story about female relationships and chosen family. I loved this.

I didn’t feel much of a connection to any of the characters and I felt it took too long to get to any sort of mystery. DNF at 60%. Felt no urgency to keep reading or to know how the story ended.
