I enjoyed reading about Eric Bland’s life, childhood, and more background/context to the Murdaugh trial. 
There could have been some improvements, ie editing, I felt some stories were repeated in a couple of chapters. Some stories also didn’t quite fit the overall narrative of a chapter. 
Overall I did enjoy the book and learned more about Eric.
