Steffen and Wil are my favourite couple in this story universe.

I loved how strong their relationship is, and seeing Stef's character growth just made my heart happy.

I'm eager to read the next spin-off now!

✎ This is the fourth book in the Here be dragons novel series and let me just say that,it’s my favorite book in the series.I love the story so much.

✎ Ever read a book series and you are introduced to a character, and you are not sure you like them very much and then you read their book and then you just fall completely in with them,Steffen is that character for me.That beautiful paranoia dragon who makes sure everyone he loves and cares about is safe is the love of my life.

✎ Wil is the most caring, patient and kindest dragon ever. The way he takes care or Steffen,Knows what he’s thinking and what he needs to do to calm him down, when is paranoia rears it’s head was so magic, just like their beautiful relationship.

✎ This story is about love but it’s also about healing and finally overcoming fears that holds you back from fully enjoying someone of the most wonderful and precious moments in life. It’s about coming to terms that you are surrounded by people who love you and will do anything for you, that they will be there with you on your hardest days and rejoice with you on your happiest days. It’s about surviving the most horrific things in life, but not letting it break you because you are a

Excellent finale. This book really went in a direction I was not expecting but I loved it. I was interested in learning more about Steffan but man I was not prepared to go that dark. And then the introduction of Ronan was even more surprising. (I hope we see more of him in the future!) I almost forgot about the sweet and tender bits between Steff and Will, which were so adorable together. Wil was an absolute saint. Overall this book was unexpected delight. This author continues to deliver every time. Great stuff.

Fantasy, dragons, full of love, hope with a big pinch of paranoia

Contains: lot of paranoia, conspiracy therorist, secret relationship, mystery, dragons, supernat, hatching.

Dive into this universe and discover the anguish of a survivor who always expects the worst and of his entourage who do their best to accommodate him. The well-being of the other before his own is the best proof of love. We discover a man wounded by a trauma and who still suffers even after all this time. When a lost page of his past appears, we discover all his fragility, his past wounds, and all the progress he has made since.

As usual, the author brings us into his world. A species that rediscovers the Earth as their planet and mourns them. A little lost, they do their best to adjust to their new life. As always, filled with a great group of friends. Each character is unique and complete with their own personality and for me that makes a big difference in a story. Despite the delicate subject matter, it is also filled with snarky moments, and soooo much love, courage and hope. A relationship of extraordinary understanding that evolves.

I wasn't sure I'd ever see the day that Steffen lowered his guard enough to fall in love, but somehow his story ended up being the sweetest one by far. His and Wil's relationship was so wonderfully caring and rock-solid, and I loved seeing how in-tune the two of them were after so many years together. It was fascinating for me to learn more about Steffen's paranoia and how his past shaped him into the dragon he is today, and though it broke my heart to hear about how much suffering he endured, my respect for Steffen is greater than ever. I used to laugh off his conspiracy theories and overly-protective instincts, but getting a peek inside his brain showed me how utterly seriously he took the safety of all dragonkind. Even during his paranoia-induced spirals, Steffen cared deeply about keeping his loved ones safe, and I'm so glad he had Wil by his side to support him and be a source of safety for him. I found it adorable how bristly and protective Wil got any time someone tried to dismiss Steffen's concerns, and at the same time he was one of the only ones who could gently calm him back down after his paranoia started running wild. The two of them were such a perfect fit, and even when danger started creeping into their workplace I was confident they'd tackle it and find a path forward. It was really exciting to see the suspense plot build over the course of the story, and even Steffen and his multitudes of conspiracy theories couldn't have prepared for who was behind the unrest in the community. I loved the way Louisa Masters escalated and resolved that storyline while staying true to the welcoming, warm community that Steffen and Wil were a part of, and by the time I reached the ending I was convinced that the dragons had everything under control. I'm definitely not ready for this series to be over, but seeing how sweet and hopeful the future looks for Steffen, Wil, and the rest of the dragons was the best way to say goodbye.

**I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. This review expresses my honest thoughts and opinions.
